The AURI Cavan volunteer team consists of Ukrainians who have been living in Ireland for many years and who arrived after February 24, 2022.

We are working so that Ukrainians who were forced to leave Ukraine because of the war and found refuge in Ireland could adapt in the country, could unite to help each other and our countrymen in Ukraine. We unite in order to do everything possible for the Victory of Ukraine even at a distance.

Within the framework of the Ukrainian hub Palyanytsya, the Ukrainian Development Center was opened by the Association of Ukrainians in the Republic of Ireland (AURI), together with the Cavan County Local Development (CCLD) and with the help of the local authorities Cavan and volunteers.

We have found excellent teachers who are already teaching Ukrainian children. We want all our citizens, who are now integrating into the hospitable society of Ireland, to have the opportunity to learn, create and communicate in their native language.

With the help of our CCLD partners, we have additional facilities for a variety of activities for children and adults. Now there are classes on Saturdays at Terry Coyle Park and in the evenings at the Bridge street Centre.

We continue to form a team of volunteers for activities, events and meetings of the Ukrainian Cavan community. And we are constantly working to collect humanitarian packages to Ukraine, to help Ukrainians survive and win this war, to hold charity events and concerts.

We invite all Ukrainians living in Cavan county to join our activities, follow our activities on social networks and on the website. And also, if you are eager to be useful and have time, we invite you to our volunteer team! Everyone’s contribution is very important, because together we are invincible! And even far from our native Ukraine, we must remain Ukrainians, carry our own culture and traditions, and protect our native language.
