When solidarity turns into concrete actions, it helps save lives. A few years ago, the Association of Ukrainians in Republic of Ireland (AURI) signed a tripartite agreement with the Health Service Executive (HSE) and the Ukrainian foundation “Hurtom UA.” Since then, this fruitful and long-standing partnership has helped deliver thousands of units of medical equipment, medicines, consumables, and other essential items to those most in need, contributing to saving human lives. As part of this ongoing cooperation, today dedicated volunteers loaded and dispatched two more trucks loaded with necessary medical equipment and supplies for Ukrainian hospitals to Ukraine. This humanitarian cargo will primarily be directed to hospitals in regions affected by Russian attacks, where medical staff continue to provide vital care and save people in extremely difficult conditions. This shipment has become another important result of years of cooperation, mutual trust, and joint efforts of the Ukrainian community, Irish state institutions, businesses, and volunteers. We express our sincere gratitude to our valued Irish partners: 🇮🇪 The Department of Health of Ireland and the Health Service Executive (HSE) for their unwavering support of Ukrainian medical institutions, compassion, and significant contribution to strengthening Ukraine’s healthcare system. Special thanks to Ciara Norton, David Weakliam, and Ronnie McDermott, whose professional cooperation, personal dedication, and constant support help make this aid a reality. We also express our deep gratitude to the Embassy of Ukraine in Ireland, in particular Her Excellency Ms. Larysa Gerasko, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Ireland, for supporting charitable initiatives, facilitating their implementation, and her personal dedication to helping Ukraine.
