Presentation of the Ukrainian book

Events

The children’s book “I want to speak Ukrainian” (“I want to speak Ukrainian”), which was created in 2 months, was presented at Galway.

The presentation of the children’s book “I want to speak Ukrainian” (“I want to speak Ukrainian”) by Bláithín Breathnach and Lindsay Myers took place on May 28 at 12.00 in the Charlie Byrnes bookstore (The Cornstore, Middle St, Galway).
The book was published in 6000 copies in Ukrainian and English. It was created in a record 2 months! The collection of illustrations and information about Ukrainian traditions was carried out with the help of Ukrainian refugees who now live near Galway and in the city itself.

Free copies of the book in Ukrainian were distributed at the presentation. The presentation was accompanied by music by the band Butterfly Effect, which recently released the single “Will you be free” in support of the IrelandforUkraine Fund.

This book was created for distribution in Irish schools to introduce students and teachers to the Ukrainian language and culture and to help integrate Ukrainian children.
