Last Saturday, 17th of December, in the native Ukrainian Language Saturday school “Ridna Shkola” cheerful Christmas event took place in Castleknock, Dublin.
The pick point of each child on the day was the visit of Saint Nicholas with a full bag of presents!
Children displayed the Christmas Nativity scene while those sitting in the audience received incredible emotions and pleasure of kids singing Christmas carols & delicious homemade donughts .
Honoured guests included Consul of Ukraine to Ireland Oleksii Tiutiunenko, Project Manager of the Association of Ukrainians in the Republic of Ireland (AURI), Mark O’Brian. Children displayed the Christmas Nativity scene while those sitting in the audience received incredible emotions and pleasure of kids singing Christmas carols & delicious homemade doughnuts. We sincerely thank the director Nadiya Ivannikova and the teaching team Oksana Mychka, Maria Starukh, Olena Sobchuk, Oksana Kuzyk, Marta Boychuk, Viktoriya Ilka for their fruitful work and for the patriotic education of the younger Ukrainian generation. Special thanks to the videographers Oleksandr Yavorskyy and Konstantin Antipenko, with the help of which the children’s performances will be maintained in the “Ridna Shkola” archive.
