At the beginning of autumn, the Ukrainian hub “Palyanytsia in Galway” was closed in connection with the start of autumn classes in the premises that were given to us for temporary use.
But the AURI volunteer team was not lost, we packed and sent to Ukraine more than a ton of things that remained in the warehouse. The clothes were sent to different regions of the country. These are Ivano-Frankivsk, Poltava, Kirovohrad, Odesa, Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv regions.
Thanks to the full support of Ireland, we were able to send our boxes of items for free with An post, the national postal service.
And while we are looking for a new, more functional space for the Ukrainian hub in Galway, Irish people continue to bring clothes and other necessary things, so we continue to collect parcels to send to Ukraine.
