Poetry, Music and Unity: Charity Creative Evening in Sligo
On 9 May 2026, Sligo hosted the third charity creative evening — a special meeting with the poetry of Nadija Postemska. The event was organised by the Association of Ukrainians in the Republic of Ireland with the support of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church in Sligo.
Guests had the opportunity to hear poems from the collection “Between the Eternal and the Earthly”, enjoy musical performances, and experience a heartfelt atmosphere of unity and support.
We sincerely thank Father Taras Fedorenko, his wife Zoriana, the Ukrainian community in Sligo, all performers and readers, local creative groups, the band “Slava Ukraini”, volunteers, organisers, and everyone who contributed to creating this warm and inspiring evening in support of Ukraine.
Special thanks to Nadija Postemska for her talent, charity work, and for an unforgettable evening that once again united the Ukrainian community through the warmth of poetry, sincere emotions, and the Ukrainian spirit.
