An Evening of Poetry with Nadija Postemska in Dublin: A Night That United Hearts

Події

On April 26, in a warm and inspiring atmosphere following the Holy Liturgy, a special creative charity evening took place — a meeting with the poetry of Nadija Postemska. The event, organized by the Association of Ukrainians in the Republic of Ireland with the support of the parish, brought together everyone who values the power of words, music, and deep, sincere emotion.

This was not just a presentation of the author’s fifth poetry collection, “Between the Eternal and the Earthly” — it was a living dialogue of souls. Each poem resonated with the audience, and every word, passed through personal experience, sounded especially heartfelt and profound. Nadija Postemska shared a part of her inner world, offering far more than poetry — a truly emotional and meaningful experience.

A special atmosphere was created by the music of Jonas Kriauklys, who performed compositions based on the poet’s words. His performance, particularly in Ukrainian, impressed with its sincerity and depth, becoming a powerful example of cultural unity and support.

Equally moving were the performances by Mariia Kavetska and the group Slava Ukraini, which filled the evening with strength, warmth, and vibrant energy.

The evening also became a true reflection of community unity. In the simple yet meaningful details — preparation, care, homemade treats, sandwiches, and delicious coffee from The Art Of Coffee — one could feel the support and warmth that build a real community.

An important part of the event was its charitable purpose. Thanks to a joint effort, €1,026 was raised for emergency aid to Ukraine. This is not just a number — it represents real support, saving lives and making a difference. In moments like this, it becomes especially clear: even far from home, we remain united — preserving our culture, identity, and strength.

We sincerely thank Nadija Postemska for this bright, profound, and inspiring evening, as well as all the artists and volunteers, and everyone who contributed to making it possible.

It was a truly special evening — one that will stay with us for a long time.
